Dentistry
By offering high quality education and research activities and skills in basic dental sciences and clinical dental sciences, the Faculty of Dentistry aims at educating competent dental students who can find solutions to the community's oral health problems. Unique in the western Mediterranean region and Lake District of Turkey, the faculty also provides medical services to patients from Isparta and its surrounding provinces.
In the clinical dental sciences division of the faculty are the eight departments Oral Diagnosis & Radiology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontology, Pedodontics, Prothetic Dental Treatment, Oral Pathology, Endodontics, and doctoral programs are offered in all departments.
Those who successfully complete their academic study are awarded as "Dentist" at the end of the program. Our graduates can occupy many important positions in private and public dental institutions as well as their own clinics. In addition, they can pursue an academic career in the faculties of dentistry after the doctoral program.
